In this powerful weekend retreat Melli will take you on a journey of self discovery and liberation. Through storytelling and colourful analogies Melli will guide you through her own journey from self-hatred and self-harm to a joyful, abundant and fulfilled sense of being.

By consulting with leading experts around the world, reading over 800 books and self-experimenting over the past 15 years she has been able to radically transform her own mind and ultimately her life. She now dedicates

The Art of Mindful Living Retreat

Yoga Meditation Level 2

The practices learned in Level 2 Meditation bring the practitioner from the state of pratyahara into dharana (concentration).

Experiences associated with Level 2 Meditation, Dharana

-The pranic system (energetic system) is balanced and
strengthened through chakra purification
-Compassion for self and others is awakened
-Samskaras (mental impressions) are diminished gently
-The mental body becomes stronger and more mature
-Intuition is more easily accessed
-’Problems’ are solved more easily
-The body and mind learn to become steadier

Melli’s contagious passion for the art of mindful living means that you will also discover how to take the peace found through yoga and meditation ‘off the matt’ and into daily life.

Open to all. Especially suitable for those who have begun a regular meditation or yoga nidra practice and who have experience of the first stage of meditation, pratyahara (in level 1).

Yoga Meditation Level 3

What does Level 3 Meditation do?


Level 3 Meditation develops concentration, non-attachment, inspiration and connection with the deepest levels of ‘self awareness’.

It also…

-expands the flow of prana through the body
-increases the sense of inspiration in all levels of
life
-liberates the mind from old conditioned patterns of
thought
-increases concentration and will-power
-increases the experience of joyfulness and peace
-increases the capacity for total body stillness
-increases the capacity for total mind stillness

Level 3 practices are for increasing concentration from ‘dharana’ (concentration) and moving towards the state of meditation or ‘dhyana’

Level 3 is open to all but is especially suited to those who have attended ’yoga meditation’ levels 1 and 2 or those with prior experience in meditation.

Day of Mindfulness in Newcastle

Join Melli, Hannah & Frank for an intimate 1 day mindfulness mini-retreat in Newcastle on 8 December 2013, Sunday.

This day is a chance to refresh, deepen and re-energise you in your practice of mindful living & connect with like-minded people.

Whether you're a past student of mine or a mindfulness practitioner I have not had the pleasure of meeting, you're welcome to come along and join us!

10am Mindfulness practice
11am Morning tea
11.30am Talk/storytelling on the art of mindful living

2pm Walking meditation
2.30 Yoga Nidra (30 min lying down relaxation
meditation)
3pm Afternoon tea, casual Q&A and sharing
4pm Close

Bring along a vegetarian plate of food to share and some clothes for gentle postures and walking meditation.

Morning & afternoon tea will be provided.
